Meet Leah Sneed, our Nationally Certified and State Licensed Massage Therapist. With over 5 years experience working in chiropractic clinics, Leah works alongside chiropractors to minimize patient recovery time and optimize their outcomes.

Leah specializes in deep tissue, therapeutic, sports, and injury-related massage therapy techniques.

Here are some of the various massage styles that we offer to meet your specific needs:

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Deep tissue techniques involve slower strokes or friction techniques across the grain of the muscle. Deep tissue massage is used for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury. People often feel sore for one to two days after deep tissue massage.

Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage is primarily used for the relief and control of myofascial pain and dysfunction. The goal of treatment is the client’s recovery from or a significant reduction in myofascial pain. Treatment consists of trigger point compression, deep tissue massage, and passive stretching. Success may be measured subjectively by the level of pain reduction experienced by the client and objectively through increased range of motion, strength, endurance, and other measures of improved function.

Sports and Injury-related Massage
Sports/Injury-related massage is usually designed for people who are involved in physical activity, but you don't have to be a professional athlete to receive a sports massage; it is also used by people who are active and work out often. The focus isn't on relaxation but on preventing and treating injury and enhancing athletic performance. Combinations of techniques are used during treatment, which can include myofascial-release, trigger point release, and cross fiber friction.

Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is the most common type of massage therapy used in the United States. The techniques used in Swedish massage are long smooth strokes, kneading, and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle. Swedish massage therapy can be very gentle and relaxing. If you've never had massage before, this is a good one to try first.

Massage therapy is useful for all conditions listed below and more:
