- Your first consultation is free, and we will review your medical history and your symptoms. We are often able to determine whether or not we can treat you based on this information.
- If you require a diagnosis, we will perform X-rays and interpret them.
- Once we have a diagnosis, and we can treat it, Dr. Frasier will spend time talking with you about your condition and about your health goals. Our goal is to restore you to your desired lifestyle as quickly as possible.
- We are committed to complete rehabilitation, if possible, so we want to solve the underlying cause of your condition.
- We will design an aggressive treatment plan and walk you through it so that you can continue your recovery after you leave the clinic.
- The treatment will include gentle manipulative therapy or “adjustments” to your spine. We do this because an injury often alters the normal position or flexibility of the vertebrae, and the manipulations restore normal alignment. Studies have shown adjustments are often effective in quickly restoring you to a productive state and maintaining it. According to a study published in the medical journal Spine (July 15, 2003), manipulation helps patients with back pain feel better longer than surgery or drugs.
- Because we advocate a multi-disciplinary approach to solving your problem, your treatment will include the removal of old scar tissue and muscular re-education.
- We may also recommend therapeutic exercises and show you ways to reduce or even eliminate future injuries, such as teaching you proper lifting procedures.
